White Sand at Munting Buhangin

Surprisingly, a cheap resort exists in Batangas. This resort is called Munting Buhangin Beach Camp and during October-December, they offer 50% discount on their rooms.

Hooray!

This resort lies along the coast of Nasugbu, Batangas. It is just beside Terrazas de Punta Fuego, and only 45 minutes away from Tagaytay. You'll be needing a well-maintained car to get there; if you do not have one, fret not. You may hire a tricycle in Nasugbu to take you to the resort.

Now why did I say well-maintained car? Because the roads from the gate of the resort to the beach itself are sloping, and steep.

So what's more to like about Munting Buhangin? From my experience, I'd say, FREE CORKAGE.

Yes, FREE CORKAGE.

Hence, you can bring in whatever you like - food, drinks, beer, hard drinks, food, food, food - and save up on your costs. The beach is also well-maintained and the waters are very calm. Most of all, the sand is white. No offense to black and gray sand, but white sand really makes the place look a lot better. Agree?

They also have a tree house. Crazy, isn't it? Tents are also available for rent.

Bring a volleyball, too. And a soccer ball. They have volleyball courts and a wide sand area for your beach football scrimmages.

Here is another very important suggestion you might want to consider. I'd say that you visit this place during the off-peak seasons, like November, or December, or probably January... Why?

My goodness, this place gets really crowded and noisy on summers. It ruins the peace and beauty of the environment, and it might probably ruin your mood too.

I haven't tried their rooms yet, or their food (do they have a restaurant?). In a few months, I would know as this is where we'll be having our Team Building - thanks to their 50% discount!
